Eyes..... yellow, stool colour was clay,
That was a very unfortunate day,
Obstructive jaundice was then diagnosed,
He was in much pain, only God knows,
Bile stasis resulted due to stones in  the  duct,
Gall stones were released and on their way out they  got hooked,
He had to be scheduled  for an ERCP ...
To exactly locate where the stone would be,
The procedure was short but gave him a backache,
Making all his body parts ache & shake,
He ended up in hospital again after aday or two,
Feeling down, very blue...
Admitted in the ICU crying in pain,
Doctors were of no help, they seemed insane..
They gave him painkillers, & said there did their best,
An I/v line maintained.. I/v fluid given and advised him to rest,
Pancreatitis was a horrible complication,
Pain subsided after a day then I realised the relation,
The experience was so bad that he agreed for an operation;
Once & for all to get away from gall stone frustration..
Now his  gall bladder is no longer there..
The pain has relieved & he has no fear,
So, please take your health seriously;
And go through a medical exam,
Eventhough it may be painful at times;
But If he made it through, you also can!
